ETHIOPIAN FOREIGN COMMUNITY wants recognition from government and the world as natives Dec 17, 2012

Published on Dec 17, 2012 In the southern region of Ethiopia is a village called Shashamane. It has a historical attraction because it was the land that was granted by Emperros Haille Sellassie in 1948 to black people in appreciation of their support to Ethiopia during the Italian invasion. Over 50 years down the road, it is now home to close to 350 families who are from different nationalities and now believe that their home is in Ethiopia and that Haille Selassie is divine.
